Modernity was formed on the basis of great meta-narratives. Post-modernity will express the opposite principle: that of incredulity and the fragmentation of meanings in relation to the recent past. Therein may lie the rejection of the different forms of pre-textualisation. It will then be necessary to intensify the use of a rational and secular discourse and to create the conditions for a New Humanism free of recognised and acclaimed authorities. For this very reason, we now give the floor to the younger generation ... and make room for the new textualities and utopias. |
